Cyanotype & Embroidery Weekend with Jill Kipnis & Jolanda Rocklin – September the 19th & 20th 2026

A Creative two day workshop with Jill & Jolanda, we will be experimenting with Cyanotype printing to create a background for our stitching using plants and flowers, we start with a drawing exercise of observing and looking at the wonderful shapes the botanical world has to offer.
You will be spending the whole weekend exploring multi media design and experimentation with cloth, flowers, plants, wool and threads – please feel free to bring what ever you would like to explore, Cyanotype printing can be done with so many different objects.
The days start at 10am and finish at 4pm on both days. There is ample parking at the little school and if you come from further afield we can send you a list of some wonderful accommodation in the area.
We will provide everything, the materials refreshments, coffee/tea/soft drinks cake & biscuits, a two vegetarian course lunch with desert in our beautiful studio in North Creake, weather allowing we will be picking our own flowers from the garden.
This is a wonderful opportunity to spend a couple of days working with Jill who has been a fellow & teacher at The Royal School of Needlework RSN in Hampton Court for the past 25 years, Jill is an expert embroiderer and teacher, we are all very excited at the prospect of spending some creative time with her.
