Fairy Making with Sara Sherriff @wildwoodmaker on 24/10/2026

£120.00

Welcome to the magical world of Sara Sherriff,
maker of exquisitely hand-stitched little Fairies, Bunnies & other gorgeous little dolls and fairies.

Join Sara for a gentle day of stitching — a chance to follow your creativity and reconnect with yourself and your joy. We’ll set aside the need to do things perfectly or just so and instead follow our hearts and hands as we create a whimsical companion: a small character to remind you of the good things that come when you give yourself the freedom to do something you love.

For centuries, women have sewn together — weaving their stories as they made something beautiful with their hands. This tradition is soothing, nourishing, and often quietly transformative. Who knows where it might lead.

The little Fairy you create will be based on the one in the photo, but it won’t be identical. In this workshop you’ll be encouraged to find and follow your own creative instincts: what fabrics you’re drawn to, what expression you’d like to give her, and what details feel meaningful to you.

The main item on the curriculum is to indulge yourself and experience a sense of joy — resulting in a little talisman that reminds you to seek out those joyful moments wherever you can.

The day starts at 10am and finishes at 3.30/4pm
The fee for the day includes;
– Expert tuition from Sara Sherriff
– Embroidery  & Stitching support from Jolanda Rocklin
– All materials ( feel free to bring some of your own special materials from your stash)
– all refreshments and cake/ biscuits/snacks
– A home cooked delicious vegetarian lunch with desert
– a lovely day at our Inspirational Little School.

This will be a small workshop of probably a maximum of 8 people. First come first served, Sara’s next workshop will be announced soon!
